Are you a college student or recent college graduate? Do you want to get into the fast-paced world of book publishing? An internship may be the right thing for you to learn the ropes of the publishing business with real world hands-on experience. This isn't a class, it's not an administrative job. You'll jump in right away reading manuscripts, making editorial suggestions, and a lot more. Interns will learn:

- A computer (PC preferred, but Mac is fine too.)
- Speedy typing
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of computer programs, mainly Gmail, Word and Excel
- A love of reading and books of all types
- Good internet research skills
- Familiarity with website building (or the willingness to learn)
- The ability to add and work a calculator!
- Common sense
- A sense of humor
